LEAF & BRUSH COLLECTION
The DPW will continue leaf and brush pick up as weather conditions allow. Brush, leaves, and grass clippings placed at the curb or placed in containers at the curb will be picked up on Mondays and Fridays if time allows.
Below are a few reminders:
-
Brush placed at the curb must be tied in bundles no longer than four feet
-
If you rake grass clippings or leaves to the curb, make sure you do not have any twigs or other debris mixed in as this plugs the suction hose
-
No major tree removal debris will be picked up
ANNUAL DRINKING WATER QUALITY REPORT (CCR)
Each year, the Village of Cambria Water Utility publishes an Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, also called a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This report provides residents with important information about the community’s drinking water.
The report summarizes water quality testing conducted throughout the year, explains how drinking water is monitored and regulated, and provides general information about drinking water sources and standards. It is prepared to keep residents informed about the safety and quality of their public drinking water.
View the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report here.
If you have questions about the report or the Village water system, please contact DPW Director Tom Tietz. If you would like a printed copy of the report please contact the Cambria Village Office.
PET OWNERS
-
Be sure to license all dogs over 5 months of age (see form here)
-
Always clean up after your pets when on a walk
-
Do not allow your animals to run at large by keeping pets leashed and under control of a responsible person

We often receive complaints about these ordinance violations so please comply with them to avoid possible law enforcement involvement.

ABOUT CAMBRIA

The Village of Cambria is located in the northeastern part of Columbia County. Cambria is surrounded by some of the richest farmlands in the state along with lush woodlands and marshes. Fishing is available on beautiful Tarrant Lake which borders our park. The park has an outdoor pool, baseball diamond, volleyball court, playground, shelters, and many other fun and recreational opportunities for families.
Our beautiful country atmosphere has much to offer for local residents, along with many great job and career opportunities in the area. There are also places and opportunities for entrepreneurs to start a business in the area. We welcome job minded individuals and families to move and work in our area.
Cambria is home to the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers, a public school which encompasses grades pre-k through twelfth grade from the Cambria-Friesland School District. It has a 11-1 ratio of students to teachers in the classroom. For sport minded students, several athletic opportunities are available through the school, along with music, band, art, and FFA.
Each year we have celebrations and events within our community. Park Days is our biggest celebration and is held the first weekend in August. Our village is also home to one of the largest charity poker runs in the state which occurs later that same month.
Whether you come to live or visit we welcome you to our quiet, friendly community and hope to see you soon!
